According to Vedic Astrology and Hindu beliefs, Paush is the month of the Lord Sun and as today is also the full moon there is a mystic combination of Sun and Moon. Therefore honouring today both Sun and Moon will result in many blessings and wishes being granted.

Sacred Baths

Many Hindus will be taking sacred baths (preferably in natural water but a shower will do) prior to performing honour rituals to the sun and the moon.
