Everything has an energy field around it, which is known as the aura. It vibrates at a higher frequency than the physical body which is why it is rarely seen but it can be photographed using special cameras. Our aura holds all the information both positive and negative from our past, present and future lives and connects to our chakras (part 3) which connect to our physical body. This is why healing in the aura is so powerful.
Seeing and Sensing Auras
Everyone senses Auras. We all form “first impressions”. We are all able to sense if someone is happy or sad. We sense if we like someone or not. We can and do sense people’s moods. Some people are more sensitive than others, but it is also a skill that can be developed with practice.
There are special cameras which can photograph the aura and some very sensitive people can see the aura of animals, plants and people. Often it can be seen as a slight heat haze emanating around someone or something. The aura is made up of colours and an aura reader will not only be able to see or sense the different colours they will also be able to tell you what they mean by the specific tones and placement within the aura.
When someone is happy and vibrant their aura will be bright and clear, and colourful, when depressed or worried it may well be murky and dark. Colour is an important part of reading auras and will be covered in separate articles. If our physical, mental, emotional or spiritual bodies are out of balance the aura will reflect this imbalance as shadows or dark spots. Traumas on any level are reflected as tears or holes in the aura. Many people believe, including me, that our physical body reflect these imbalances and our unconscious minds. A wonderful book on this subject is Your Body Speaks your Mind by Debbie Shapiro.
The next article will cover the “Seven Layers of the Aura”.
