Birth of Baha’ullah – Baha’i faith

Baha’ullah founded the Baha’i religion in his native Iran in 1863 making it quite a modern religion and the 12th of November is his birthday and thus celebrated around the world by those following this faith. The religion has three core beliefs which are central to its teachings which resonate greatly with me. They are: The Oneness of God, The Oneness of Religion, The Oneness of Humanity sometimes referred to as the Unity of God, the Unity of Religion and the Unity of Mankind. If everyone believed this just think we would have had no need of Armistice Day yesterday.

Leonids Meteor Shower

Leonids Meteor Shower runs annually from 6th – 30th November. It peaks on the night of the 17th and morning of the 18th as usual and this is when most of the meteors can be seen. Unfortunately we will also be coming up to a full moon at that time therefore, although there will not be so many, it will be easier to see them early in the shower nearer the new moon of the 6th November.
